Jackfruit Chilli

 


 

Ingredients 

 

  • 2 tins Jack Fruit (600g drained)
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 2 Red Chilli de-seeded and diced
  • 2 sticks Celery diced
  • 800g chopped tinned tomatoes
  • 2 tsp Harissa spice (Flavour magic)
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tbsp House of Lords BBQ sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 L Water
  • Seasoning

 

Instructions

  1. Sweat the onion, garlic, chilli & celery in a little oil in a large pan for a few minutes
  2. Add the Harissa spice & cocoa and cook for a minute, add the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Top up with the water, bring to a simmer and cook for 30 mins, mash up the jack fruit & correct the seasoning.
