Jackfruit Chilli



  • 2 Tins Jack Fruit (600g drained)
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 2 Cloves garlic crushed
  • 2 Red chilli de-seeded and diced
  • 2 Sticks celery diced
  • 800g Chopped tinned tomatoes
  • 2 tsp Harissa spice
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp House of lords BBQ sauce
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 L Water
  • Seasoning


Sweat the onion, garlic, chilli & celery in a little oil in a large pan for a few minutes
Add the Harissa spice & cocoa and cook for a minute, add the rest of the ingredients.
Top up with the water, bring to a simmer and cook for 30 mins, mash up the jack fruit & correct the seasoning.
