In a large sauce pan using veg oil, sweat the onions and garlic without colour, add the peppers, jackfruit. Add the onion powder, garlic powder and smoked paprika.
Add the tomato puree and ketchup, then add the gravy and cook on a simmer for 30 minutes. Use a little water if it looks like it is going to be too dry. Be careful not to let it stick so stir regularly
Using a masher break up the jack fruit, finish with the Frenchy’s mustard & hot sauce if you’d like it to be extra spicy
Serve in a vegan bun with melted cheese over it Sloppy Joe style!
